AVA TYLER, soprano following the Civic Morning Musicals Vocal competition in Fall of 2023. Ava won first place in the Young Artists Division and also won the David Ross Prize for the performance of African America Art Song. She is a 2024 graduate of Cicero-North Syracuse High School and has completed her first year of study at Manhattan School of Music in New York City. Ava will perform arias and musical theater repertoire in our July 22 Young Artists Concert. We are delighted to present Ava in what promises to be a beautiful evening of exciting young talents. Our Young Artists Concert is supported and funded by the generosity of Syracuse Friends of Chamber Music. The performance is part of our community outreach initiative.

ABIGAIL FENG, cellist is a senior at Jamesville-Dewitt High School. This year, Abby won the 53rd annual CMM-The Syracuse Orchestra Youth Concerto Competition and performed solo with the Syracuse Orchestra. She served as principal cellist of the Syracuse Young Artists Orchestra as well as of the NYSSMA festival orchestras and her high school orchestra. Abigail has been honored to receive the Robinson Award and the Susan R. Klenk Award for Musical Excellence, among others. Abigail graduated from ECMS with a Diploma in Cello Performance with Honors. This summer, she will be studying cello and chamber music at the Bowdoin International Music Festival. Abby currently studies with Professor David Ying. She will be attending the Juilliard School to study cello performance.

HUDSON BRENNER is a rising senior at Fayetteville-Manlius High School. Hudson won 1st place at the CNYAMT Advanced Piano Competition in March 2024, and received an Honorable Mention at the Civic Morning Musicals Concerto Competition in January 2025. Also an accomplished violist and vocalist, Hudson is a member of the Syracuse Young Artists Orchestra, as well as the Fayetteville-Manlius Chamber Orchestra and Symphony Orchestra. Hudson performed in The Prom ensemble at Fayetteville-Manlius High School and performs with Chorale and Swing Choir. When not making music, Hudson also enjoys participating in German Club, Model United Nations, The Buzz newspaper, Chess Club, and several other student organizations.
